This Privacy Policy describes how Stefanik Software (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with Mow Log – GPS Mowing Tracker (“Mow Log” or the “app”).
Your mowing data
Mow Log uses information such as GPS routes, mowing dates and durations, distance, weather, notes, and photos to provide its features. Your mowing records, including GPS routes, photos, and notes, are stored on your device and in your private iCloud storage. We do not receive or have access to the contents of your private iCloud mowing records through the app.
Permissions and Apple services
The app uses location access to record your mowing path and obtain relevant weather information. If you grant background location access, recording may continue while a mow is active and the app is in the background. Photos and camera access are used when you choose to add photos. You can manage these permissions in your device settings; disabling access may limit the related features.
Mow Log uses Apple services, including iCloud and Apple’s weather service. Weather requests use location information to obtain conditions for the relevant area. Apple processes information under its own terms and privacy practices. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Analytics and app performance
We use Google Firebase services to understand app usage, evaluate performance, diagnose issues, and improve Mow Log. Depending on the services and configuration in use, technical and usage information may include app interactions, app and operating system versions, device characteristics, diagnostic information, and installation or app-instance identifiers.
This information is used for analytics and app performance, rather than to identify you by name. It may include pseudonymous identifiers and should not be understood as necessarily anonymous in every circumstance. We do not send the contents of your mowing records, GPS routes, notes, or photos to Firebase for analytics. No accounts or advertising
Mow Log does not require a separate app account and does not display advertisements. We do not sell your mowing records or use them for targeted advertising.
Sharing and communications
If you choose to share a mow, image, or other content, the information you select is shared with the recipients or services you choose. Their handling of that information is governed by their own practices.
If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use that information to respond, provide support, and address the matter you raise. Please avoid sending information that is unnecessary for your request.
Retention and deletion
You control your locally stored and private iCloud mowing data. To remove it, delete the app and separately delete Mow Log’s data from your iCloud storage using Apple’s settings. Deleting the app alone does not necessarily remove its iCloud data. Copies you have exported, shared, or included in backups may need to be removed separately.
Analytics, diagnostic, and support information may be retained for the purposes described above, subject to applicable service settings, provider retention practices, and legal obligations. Deleting the app or its iCloud data does not necessarily delete information already processed by analytics providers. You may contact us about privacy requests; our ability to locate or delete information may be limited where it is not linked to your identity.
Security and third-party processing
We rely on platform and service-provider safeguards appropriate to their respective roles. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Apple and Google may process information in countries other than your own, in accordance with their applicable terms and privacy policies.
Your privacy choices and rights
You can manage app permissions and iCloud storage through your device and Apple account settings. Depending on where you live and the information involved, applicable law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing, or to raise a concern with a privacy regulator. Contact us to make a request. We may need information reasonably necessary to verify and respond to it, and applicable exceptions may apply.
Children’s privacy
Mow Log is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and address the matter.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app or our practices change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
